Atlanta-based photographer David Walter Banks will talk about "Finding Your Voice in Longterm storytelling," in which he will walk the audience through the genesis, process and completion of his three-year environmental-advocacy project on the Okefenokee Swamp. 

Banks will be referencing his book entitled Trembling Earth: A Transcendental Trip Through the Okefenokee, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the USC College of Journalism & Mass Communication in Room 106, 800 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC from 10 am to 12 pm.
