Perspective:

The rise of Black Lives Matter protest and Covid -19 - two concurrent events - had photographers, both professional and amateur, on the street and on the hospital floor in 2020. PhotoSC brought together these photographers and their amazing work in show entitled Perspective: BLM | Covid-19.

PopUp 2020

Our January 2020 photography pop-up showcased 52 local photographers and a range of images. The beautiful image above is by Kathleen Robbins, a capture of foggy morning in the Mississippi Delta.

PopUp 2019

PhotoSC began with its PopUp in January 2019. The call was put out and 38 local photographers presented a single image for a celebratory evening. Veteran photographer Allen Sharpe is good to his name, tack sharp and high contrast, his photograph above of the Charleston, SC Cooper River Bridge.
